Can I work at home on things from the session?

This is the ideal way to making the changes you desire become part of your everyday life.

This is about you making change and so integrating that into everyday life is essential.

The tools and insights you gain in the sessions  can be with you for the rest of your life.

Because the insights are new, it is important in the beginning to, "rewire", them at a conscious level. Rewiring new patterns takes observation of those old patterns, and then being able to, "prune" habits that no longer serve us.

Noticing how you interact with others, especially in your main relationships in life, will give you the opportunity to observe what it is you want to change and enhance.  So practicing at home is where the bulk of change occurs.

Having self soothing techniques, learning to self regulate, being aware of when we become agitated or nervous, anxious, depressed, angry or any emotion for that matter, are a means to move through to change.

Implementing exercises, reading, journaling, meditation, mindfulness, hobbies, social interaction and becoming familiar with yourself in your day to day life, are some of the ways where the real and lasting change occur.
